In an effort to strengthen and in recognition of SICI’s longtime partnership with the Ministry of Advanced Education, Government of Saskatchewan, SICI is hosting a brief online session to expand academic & research linkages between India and the Canadian Province of Saskatchewan during Indian Members’ Council Annual Meeting on May 22, 2021. SICI is proud to steer this partnership in the space of higher education and research engagement!

SICI is deeply saddened by the passing away of its Former President (1990-1994) and Resident Director(1988-1989), Prof. G.N. Ramu, Department of Sociology, University of Manitoba.

SICI is organizing a Dissemination and Orientation event for its past and recent awardees from January 20-22, 2021, 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. via virtual mode. During this event, SICI’s fellows for the year 2019-20 and 2018-19 will share the work done by them during their fellowship tenure in Canada/India. The new awardees for the year 2020-21 will get first-hand information about SICI, its policies, fund disbursement, utilization of funds and other vital aspects.
