Shastri Applied Research Project (SHARP)
The Shastri Applied Research Project ran from 2002-2006 and supported 19 three-year collaborative research initiatives. SHARP was funded by CIDA and contributed to poverty reduction and sustainable development in India through bi-national policy research. All projects had an impact beyond the academic community.

The two day workshop on “Ageing and Health” is supported by the Shastri Indo Canadian Institute (SICI) and the Department of Science of Technology (DST) purse grant, organized by School of Medical Sciences, University of Hyderabad (UoH) in collaboration with the School of Public Health, University of Alberta, Alberta, Canada.
