Fellowships for successful applicants are subject to approval by the Indian consulate or High Commission closest to your city of residence:

Who is considered a “Scholar” and would be eligible to apply for a Scholar Travel Subsidy Grant?
Anyone who is affiliated full-time with an academic institution of higher learning is considered a Scholar under the terms of this grant. This includes undergraduate students, postgraduate students, professors, librarians etc.

The application form for the program I’m applying for asks for a passport-sized photo. Does it have to conform to government passport photo regulations?
Yes, please provide passport photos acceptable to the Canadian Government.
