On December 31, 2019, the Johri Family Fund, Vancouver, donated CAD 5,000 to SICI’s Canada Office. It was established that this amount would be utilized in the Shastri Scholar Travel Subsidy Grant (SSTSG) programme in 2020-21. Three competitive SSTSG awards will be given to three students (two Ph.D. and one Postdoc) to travel overseas between Canada and India to pursue their collaborative academic projects.
