You are cordially invited to the book launch of "Culture, Context & Aging of Older Indians: Narratives from India and Beyond", authored by - Dr. Jagriti Gangopadhyay, a recipient of Shastri Publication Grant (SPG)!

We proudly celebrate the 53-year milestone with our staff, member institutions, & stakeholders today, and look forward to the next 50 years & more! While its services & operations have expanded, the underlying principles of the Institute have remained constant. Founded in 1968 through a mutual proclamation of the Governments of Canada and India, the Institute was named after Sh. Lal Bahadur Shastri, one of the most prominent and dynamic Prime Ministers India.

Dr. Jagriti Gangopadhyay of Manipal Academy of Higher Education and Shastri Publication Grant awardee recently added feather in her hat as her monograph got published in the prestigious Springer Publishing, an American publishing company of academic journals and books.
