The Canada-India Centre for Excellence at Carleton University is presenting its prestigious 2021 Dhahan Lecture, in association with the founding member Mr. Barj. S Dhahan, which is scheduled for December 3, 9:30 to 11:00 AM (EDT).
The event aims to encourage knowledge sharing between Indo-Canadian universities and improve bi-lateral policy between governments.
About the Speaker: Prof. Achyuta Samanta is an educationist, humanitarian, and statesman who grew up in Kalarabanka, Odisha. He founded a polytechnic institution in 1992 while working as a Chemistry Lecturer. The industry training institution grew into Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, (KIIT) by 2004. In the same year, he also founded the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) to provide free education to indigenous kids.
